Evening Housekeeper - Bank Hours

If you are an experienced Housekeeper with the understanding of a Hospital environment then we could have just the role for you.

We are looking for an Housekeeper to work Evenings on a Bank Contract. - Bank contacts are designed to suit the applicant and would be ideal for someone who cannot commit to a full time role or someone who just wants to supplement their wages.

Scope of the role  

You will be responsible for providing a high standard of cleaning to clinical and non-clinical areas with the centre and must operate in line with clearly defined standards and in compliance with policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities will include ensure that all areas of the centre are cleaned in accordance with the specification laid down for each room, clean toilet areas including toilet pans, wash basins, floors and wiping walls as necessary

you will operate buffing/polishing/vacuum/carpet cleaning/laundry machinery in accordance with the training provided for each machine while maintaining daily records of areas cleaned and report all items of faulty equipment to the supervisor and ensure their removal from service until repaired.

We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard, learn and develop in the role, but most importantly someone who understands the value of team work and a good work ethic.

The ideal applicant will have;

• Experience or a good understanding of housekeeper
• A knowledge of Health & Safety
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations 
• The ability to receive and communicate information accurately and take instruction from professional colleagues
• Someone with the flexibility to fit into internal rotating shift pattern.
