We are the Health in Justice Market leader, providing healthcare services to offenders across the country. Our model of care is our Wellbeing Approach an integrated, comprehensive approach in recognition of the fact prisoners are a socially-excluded group with healthcare needs which are complex and often associated with poor outcomes. It adopts the premise no single health/wellbeing factor can be taken in isolation of other motivational issues which might impact a persons care. At Practice Plus Group our pharmacy teams ensure medicines optimisation is embedded into everyday practice. The main focus of the work will be to provide a dispensary and wing-based clinical pharmacy service and work with the Lead Pharmacist on providing medicines management support to a number of different wings within HMP Belmarsh. You'll be responsible for the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service. Working closely with the Head of Healthcare and the multidisciplinary team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the provision of service meets the contractual obligations. The role also involves responsibility for providing daily expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring that a safe but modern medicines management service is provided to prisoners.
Main duties of the job
You will be a qualified Registered Pharmacist- BSc or Masters Degree in Pharmacy, holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. You will have a real passion for developing your Pharmaceutical skills and those of your team. Youll have a flexible approach to working within a team that encourages new ideas.

Youll receive an annual salary up to 55,000 per annum - dependent on experience. We offer a whole host of additional benefits such as: cycle to work scheme, free uniform, an extensive training and development structure for all employees along with an employee recognition scheme.
