Patient Booking Clerk
Finding new ways to improve our overall Patient experience If you an experienced Administrator with a customer focused approach then we could have just the role for you.
We are looking for a Patient Booking Clerk to join our welcoming and Friendly Administration team based here at our Emersons Green Hospital.
About the Role You will be a vital member of the team, delivering an efficient administrative service supported by our experienced Administration Managers, Louise and Maddy
You will work as a member of the administration team to provide a comprehensive administration and bookings for the Unit, ensuring that all patients are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner, which endorses the patient centred approach of the team.
As a Patient Booking clerk you will be responsible for answer telephone calls from patients, GP surgeries and other hospital staff on all aspects relating to booking appointments, patient admissions and patient referral letters.
To provide advice in all matters relating to patients appointments, both by telephone and face to face, To contact patients before attendance in order to set expectations around waiting times and to contact patients on internal waiting lists to offer earlier appointments.

Someone with recent and relevant experience, who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work under pressure.
Just as important though is your flexibility, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload
