We are recruiting ENT Consultant / Speciality Doctor to join our well-established Community ENT Department. The Clinicians must be able to deliver the highest standard of ENT out-patient care, covering all routine ENT conditions that present in a community clinic. You will be supporting the ENT Department which sees patients in Greater Manchester, Preston and Chorley. Working as a senior member of the team you will form effective and collaborative working relationships with team members and lead by example. You will be professionally accountable to the Responsible Officer if this is your main substantive position. The clinician must provide, in collaboration with clinical colleagues, a comprehensive ENT service to patients. This will include ensuring that services are provided in an effective and efficient manner and that the principles of clinical governance are maintained at all times.
The Full-Time role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday and required to work flexibly to provide the ENT service within clinics across several sites. We offer a highly competitive salary and a generous flexible benefits package. The candidate must have minimum two years experience.
Main duties of the job

Demonstrate delivery of high standards of care.Ensure patient is involved in decision-making regarding their care.Respect the privacy and dignity of patients and other staff at all times.
Take ongoing responsibility for leading the management of patients under his/her care
Participate in the development of the ENT service, treatment protocols and guidelines and the greater knowledge in the management of conditions
Develop, maintain collaborative relationships with medical colleagues in other specialties and with General Practitioners and medical professionals from acute hospitals.
Demonstrate a firm involvement in clinical governance, risk management and clinical audit, including participation in the development and maintenance of appropriate systems and practices to ensure continuous and safe clinical practice.
