Job summary

This role is part of a team which provides an efficient and effective Histology service to two general hospitals (Southend University/Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital Trusts) and local GP community. You will be expected to prepare and process clinical specimens for biomedical testing, within operating procedures and protocols. You will need to work within agreed quality standards of service delivery and turnaround times under the supervision of Associate Practitioners. Applicants must currently have permission to work in the UK.

Main duties of the job

We are currently recruiting for a Band 2 Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our remarkable and dynamic Histology team.
