Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory
Business Support Coordinator to join our professional team in providing business
support to the Operational Management Team for Blood Sciences. The candidate
must have knowledge and experience of working in a Blood Sciences Laboratory
and be familiar with discipline specific terminology as well as have excellent
skills in data analysis and interpretation.
Main duties of the job
Assist and
carry out duties as directed in the following areas:
1. Data collection and compilation of
reports of workflow analysis, staffing requirements.
2. Compilation of reports of consumables
and Reagent usage.
3. Q-Pulse Updates, Audits and
Procedures checking to ensure compliance.
4. Compilation of rosters.
5. Audit, completion, and follow up NCs
to close.
6. Training, plans documentation,
collection of data and compilation of reports.
7. Incident / Exceptions Reporting
8. Support with 5S projects and
embedding processes/ inspections.
9. Administration Tasks for basic people
management documentation.

Utilise Q-Pulse Quality Management System
according to authorised protocols, provide support in the maintenance and
monitoring of the QMS
Produce, implement
and maintain appropriate SOPs
Train other members

courteously and with clarity, whether face to face, telephone or electronically
with staff at all levels, internally and from service users. Matters being
communicated may include technical scientific information and/or results and
business sensitive material.

and adverse events and enter the information in the occurrence module of Q-Pulse.
Investigate incidents and report findings as appropriate.
Perform
administrative tasks as required by the Blood Sciences Management Team.
