Key Responsibilities of the Facilities Manager: Health & Safety Compliance: Ensures that all hospital facilities meet regulatory health and safety standards to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors Fire Compliance: Monitors fire safety protocols, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices to mitigate risks Contract Management: Oversees the CBRE contract, ensuring service levels are met and costs are effectively controlled Operational Efficiency: Directly line-manages porters and housekeepers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations that contribute to patient care and hospital cleanliness

The Facilities Manager is essential for maintaining health and safety standards within the hospital. This role is responsible for overseeing fire compliance, ensuring the CBRE contract is effectively managed, and supervising key frontline staff, including porters and housekeepers. The absence of a dedicated Facilities Manager poses a significant risk to regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and patient safety. Key Responsibilities of the Facilities Manager:
