Staff Nurse - Angiography Leeds Hospital | Nursing | Permanent Contract | Full Time | Up to £36,000 per annum depending on skills and experience 37.5 hours per week We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Angiography Nurse to join us in making our Interventional Suite a true centre of excellence. Main duties of the job

As an IVS Staff Nurse you must: Be registered with the NMC and have at least 2-year experience in a busy Angiography lab Have competencies in Phlebotomy, Cannulation and Intravenous drug administration Be BLS/ILS certified Possess a vast knowledge in Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular and Neurovascular diseases and their treatment Have a very good understanding of Radiation protection.

In addition to the roles of scrub nurse, the successful candidate will have opportunities to further their knowledge as a Pre-assessment nurse.   • Have a very good understanding of Radiation protection.

  • Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around in a close knit team headed by our Head of Cardiology

  • Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care
  • Be highly motivated and have an excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills
