Main duties of the job

As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse, you will: Have experience in Oncology and have a UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent) Be proficient in phlebotomy, cannulation and accessing Central Venous Access Devices Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy Fully assess each patient's needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT) Assist consultants during clinics Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT Team)
