Senior MRI/CT Radiographer Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital | Permanent contract | Full time Up to £47,500 depending on experience 37.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

Main duties and responsibilities: Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload. Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice. Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities Supervise and develop junior colleagues Responsible for MRI safety in line with local rules To work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC. Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programmes. Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers. Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and can report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy. Competency in intravenous cannulation and administration of contrast media is essential. Provide input to the review, update and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes. Comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures. Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements Participate in on-call rota
