Senior Staff Nurse
Cambridge Hospital | Permanent | Full Time
Up to £44,000 per annum
37.5 hours per week, Includes weekend work
Main duties of the job
As a Senior StaffNurse,you will:
Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring
Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues, mentoring them to be the best they can be
Use your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient's needs
Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care
Provide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students
Contribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews and training
Have experience in urology, be able to teach ISC, give BCG and Mitomycin
Be proficient in phlebotomy,
Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service
Fully assess each patient's needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care
Assist consultants during clinics

As a Senior Staff Nurse at our hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC. As well as post-registration experience, you bring knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Ideally, you hold qualifications in teaching and assessment, and management.
