Main duties of the job

As a Chemotherapy Staff Nurse, you will: Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker. Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients according to prescribed protocols. Monitor and assess patients during and after chemotherapy sessions, ensuring their well-being. Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on chemotherapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care measures. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes. Provide emotional support to patients and families coping with the challenges of cancer treatment.
