Main duties of the job
As a Senior Radiographer, you will:
See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy
Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload - in the department, on the ward and in theatre
Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities
Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
Supervise and develop junior colleagues
Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

The Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital are recognised for their friendly atmosphere, clinical expertise, and high standards of care.
Our purpose-built hospital has been established since 1968. With 40 en-suite bedrooms, a busy outpatients and pre-assessment departments. We also provide a diagnostic imaging service (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography and X-ray), pathology, paediatric unit, surgical recovery ward, cancer care unit, 3 state of the art operating theatres and physiotherapy services.
Our small and friendly imaging department offers a broad range of modalities and studies. We have a 1.5T Philips Ingenia widebore MRI scanner and an Aquilion Prime CT scanner. We also offer Mammography, Dexa, Fluoroscopy, Theatre, Ultrasound and general X-ray. Our MRI and general X-ray services run from 8-8 and so we offering 3 long days.

As a Senior Radiographer at our hospital, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you'll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.
