Porter Ipswich Hospital | Property and Facilities | Bank | Part time £12.33 per hour Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. Are you good with people? Do you feel comfortable with physical work, like pushing beds and lifting heavy equipment? The job role will include the portering and manual handling of items around the hospital, support with refuge collection, medical gas moving and handling and supporting stores managing deliveries and organising stock. As a Porter at our hospital, you'll need to be a good communicator, as this role involves helping our patients to feel relaxed and reassured, before and after surgery. It's also essential that you're happy to undergo our Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, as part of your application. As a Hospital Porter, you will:
