Job Description Clinical Leader (Theatres) Leicester Hospital | Nursing | Permanent contract | Full time Up to £52,600 per annum depending on experience 37.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

Conduct and organize the Clinical/ Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre, which include the smooth running of the theatre lists and organizing booking forms and assisting sessions in theatres Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department, which include Endoscopy, General, Orthopedics, Gynae Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department, including safety and risk management, quality improvement and ensure policies and procedure, to enhance patient care and service delivery. Have extensive knowledge required for dealing with audits and equipment. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.

Leicester: Founded in 1969, Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital was originally built from funds raised by the local community and is now one of the leading providers of private healthcare in Leicestershire. The Hospital has a strong local reputation with patients remaining loyal. The Hospital had a £4.5 million refurbishment in 2011 and was the blue print for the wider Hospitals refresh programme. The Hospital has 28 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 Laminar flow theatres, Endoscopy Suite, minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms. The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services using the best possible technologies. Since 2015 we have invested in a static MRI unit, a new digital X ray room & digital mammography. We are a local centre of excellence for Children and Young People Services.
