Main duties of the job

As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will: Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key Helping you feel good. Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments. Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain.
