Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will: Ensure cleaning products and equipment are used effectively, following health and safety procedures while meeting service deadlines. Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring the team has the resources they need to maintain high standards. Oversee key administrative tasks, including scheduling and maintaining rotas, stock control, conducting audits, and keeping training records up to date. Act as the main point of contact for reporting and resolving issues within work areas or equipment, liaising with the management team to find effective solutions and dealing with complaints. Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including audits. Providing day to day supervision of the housekeeping team, including scheduling work, inductions, development and training, tracking leave and absences. Ensure work is completed efficiently, to high standards, and in line with infection prevention policies and agreed procedures.
