Our Physiotherapy team at Derby hospital currently have an opportunity for a Bank Physiotherapist, working within our inpatients department.
About the Role
As an Inpatient Physiotherapist you will be responsible for providing high quality care and rehabilitation for a variety of post-operative elective orthopaedic, breast and pelvic health type patients, in line with our treatment protocols.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses and consultants in order to optimise the health and recovery of our post-operative patients.
As a Physiotherapist you will:
Deliver high quality, effective, and clinically reasoned care to meet our patient's needs.

Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes
The Person
Essential Criteria;
Have a BSc (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy, be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.Minimum of 2 years' post-graduate experience in an NHS Hospital/Private Hospital.
Have completed an Orthopaedic Rotation or can clearly demonstrate robust experience of Inpatient Orthopaedics throughout their career to date.
Demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.
Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals.
Be a competent and confident IT user
Have the ability to prioritise and deal with a varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
Be able to commit to regular weekend working and occasional weekday based training.
