Main duties of the job

As our Senior Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will: Clean equipment and laboratory to required standards and assist in the maintenance of laboratory equipment, following the correct routine maintenance schedules and procedures. Prepare and process laboratory specimens ready for testing, ensuring all samples comply with the Nuffield labelling policy. Prepare work areas correctly, and correctly and safely prepare, uses and stores equipment. To assist the laboratory with the control of blood stocks.
