Main duties of the job

As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will: Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key

Our purpose-build hospital has 39 bedrooms, 3 theatres and 1 minor treatment facility and busy outpatient department. We also provide physiotherapy, pathology, CT, MRI and diagnostic imaging services. We are conveniently located on Clayton Road, off the A519. We also provide free parking for staff.

You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you're a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care. As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:
