Main duties of the job

As our Dental Nurse you will: To prioritise patient safety, taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns. To contribute towards effective clinical risk management- supporting risk assessment, management and mitigation. To proactively identify and manage safety issues and risks in accordance with regulation. To ensure a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures). To recognise and report clinical incidents and risks to the Clinical Leader (and/or Nurse in charge) and contribute to potential solutions. To promote safeguarding and to escalate concerns. To promote infection prevention, ensuring compliance with evidence-based standards and best practices in surveillance and antimicrobial management.
