Main duties of the job

A chance to be a part of a dynamic radiology department, assisting with a range of radiological examinations Assist patients throughout their time within the department and preparing patients prior to their imaging Work in a variety of imaging modalities, including ultrasound, MRI and fluoroscopy Assisting the Radiographers in maintaining an efficient daily work list, workflow of patients Assist Radiologists in carrying out radiological examinations Deal with service user queries and patient appointments using Radiology IT systems Be responsible for stock maintenance and ordering

  • NVQ Level 2 in a Health related subject
  • Experience within a Radiology department, assisting with MRI and US procedures in particular is desirable
  • Experience in ANTT procedures
  • Cannulation training desirable
