GP and Health Assessment Doctor
Edinburgh | Corporate Site | Doctor | Permanent | Part time
Up to £110,000.00 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience
16 hours per week
(plus paid indemnity for your work with Nuffield Health)
Main duties of the job
As a GP and Health Assessment Doctor, you need to be:
On the GMC register, on the GP register and have a licence to practice
Willing to provide a minimum of 2 days per week
After qualifying as a GP you must have completed 6 months GP experience of 6 sessions per week in the UK with knowledge of UK care pathways. The 6 months GP experience must be in a traditional GP setting (NHS GP surgery). Any other work including out of hours work will not be counted.
In the last 6 months you must have been doing a minimum of 4 sessions per week as a GP
Competent in a range of health screening services, such as smear tests, breast examinations and venepuncture, as well interpreting results and ECGs.

No quotas or unrealistic targets - just great care. You will utilise our user-friendly platforms and benefit from enhanced pathways whilst having access to our state-of-the-art clinics and a national network of hospitals.
There are also opportunities to contribute to our charitable purpose through our programmes, where we work in partnership with the NHS, other healthcare providers, research institutes and charities.
