Staff Nurse - Ambulatory Care/Ward Shrewsbury Hospital | Permanent | Part time Up to £32,500 FTE pro rata dependent on skills and experience plus enhancements 30 hours per week

Main duties of the job

Working primarily in our Ambulatory Care Unit, you will be joining an agile and highly energised multidisciplinary team where you'll have a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience across a range of specialties and levels of complexity. Supported by our Clinical Head of Department, you'll have autonomy to utilise your acquired expertise and skills to make decisions that will ensure the delivery of excellent patient care. The work is exciting, varied and challenging, the multiple specialities will enable you to develop new skills and grow. We actively support you to be the best you can be in your role while also offering opportunities to progress.

Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 24 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care ward/Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities. We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.
