Senior Physiotherapist - Pelvic Support Specialist Exeter Hospital | Physiotherapy | Permanent contract | Part time Up to £43,000 per annum (Pro rata), depending on experience 22.5 hours per week It starts with you.
Main duties of the job
To succeed as a Senior Physiotherapist, you will: Have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and you'll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Have completed the minimum of a Foundation level course in Pelvic health (POGP or Pelvic Health Academy) & be competent to carry out internal assessment of the pelvic floor. Ideally have 2 years' minimum experience in Women's Health managing presentations such as urinary dysfunction and pelvic organ prolapse. Experience in Men's Health would be an advantage. Have evidence of experience & further professional training in Pelvic Health and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner in this field. Have post qualification experience of musculoskeletal physiotherapy Ideally have experience of orthopaedic ward work Ideally have experience of both NHS and private healthcare services Pilates and Mummy MOT qualifications would be an advantage Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals. Be a competent and confident IT user with strong organisation skills Have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner. Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the NHS RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. Exeter is a vibrant cathedral city in the heart of the beautiful county of Devon, situated on the river exe and only 10 miles from the coast.
