Our team at Nuffield Health Cambridge HSSU currently have an opportunity for a Sterile Services Lead Technician on our rotational shift pattern, working 08.00-16.00 and 14.00-22.00 plus weekend working.   • Assisting in the supply of sterile and/or disinfected medical devices to meet customer requirements.
  • Mentoring and support less experienced members of the team
  • Managing a team of decontamination technicians to maintain the delivery of a high quality decontamination service within the HSSU.
  • As a Sterile Services Lead Technician, you will have:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Evidence of sterile services training.
  • Proactively committed to developing own personal skills, knowledge and behavior's. Supports others in their development.
  • Communicates appropriately and effectively on straightforward subject matters.
  • Records information correctly and undertakes basic data processing.
  • Respects and supports colleagues in own and other departments.
  • Ensure own work meets the required standards, encourages the same in others and proactively identifies improvement opportunities.
  • Effectively monitors and maintains working environments and equipment/medical devices.
  • Experience as a Sterile Services in a Supervisory Role is essential.
  • Team-leadership experience needed.
