Theatre Manager Taunton Hospital | Nursing | Permanent| Full time Salary - £54,000-£57,000 per man, depending on experience 37.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

You will do this by: Driving a strong patient safety culture throughout the department, encouraging staff to speak up and report safety concerns Working in partnership with the Director of Clinical services, to evaluate departmental structures and processes ensuring effective workforce management and agile service delivery that fully meets the needs of patients, staff and clinical activity Collaborating with other clinical leaders within the Hospital, building strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery Taking on additional responsibilities and extend scope of practice in accordance with patient, clinical and service needs e.g. Surgical First Assistant. Seeking opportunities to evaluate patient experience within the department, learning from complaints, accolades and feedback and continually striving towards the delivery of seamless patient care Acting as a role model, leading, coaching and mentoring the departmental team, and promoting the adoption of evidence-based and innovative practices e.g. WHO Checklist, and foster a culture of openness that values individuality and an environment where every member of staff feels safe and "free to speak up" with confidence Contributing and participating in the development of nurses and nursing practice across the Hospital through leading clinical projects, and supporting training.
