Main duties of the job

Deliver high-quality pathology services. Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service. Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control. Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables. Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures. Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients.

There are 16 consulting rooms with speciality outpatient rooms, 46 private patient bedrooms with en-suite facilities, 24 hr resident doctor on site (RMO) and four operating theatres and one endoscopy suite.

Biomedical Scientist Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital | Pathology | Bank Contract | Part time | Up to £25.00 per hour, depending on experience Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. As a Biomedical Scientist, you'll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:
