Main duties of the job

As our Materials Co-ordinator, you will learn to: Prioritise the flow of products and solve day to day problems and about stock control and logistics. Use continuous improvement techniques to improve performance in the FMCG supply chain. Gain an understanding of a full end to end business practice. Work closely with other areas of the business, engaging with different stakeholders across the business and build relationships with great communication skills and team working. Use warehouse management systems to deliver exceptional service to your customer base at site. Create working solutions to real day to day operational problems.

Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care warkUnit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities. We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.

As a Materials Co-ordinator at our Shrewsbury Hopsital, we will guide you with mentors throughout your journey to become a professional Supply Chain employee. As our Materials Co-ordinator, you will learn to:
