Main duties of the job

As A Bank Plaster Technician you will: Apply casts and splints to patients with care and precision. Advise patients on aftercare procedures, including phone consultations. Apply and remove dressings as well as remove stitches from wounds with attention to hygiene and care. Order and manage the stock of necessary supplies. Accurately update and maintain patients' records.

Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital is seeking a qualified Medical Plaster Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and skilled in the application and management of casts and splints. As A Bank Plaster Technician you will:

  • Apply casts and splints to patients with care and precision.
  • Advise patients on aftercare procedures, including phone consultations.
  • Apply and remove dressings as well as remove stitches from wounds with attention to hygiene and care.
  • Order and manage the stock of necessary supplies.

  • Qualifications:
  • Recognized Plaster Technician qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital setting.

  • Hands-on approach and comfortable working with messy materials.
  • Strong adherence to procedures and protocols.
