CT Lead Radiographer Nuffield Health Oxford, The Manor Hospital | Radiography | Permanent | Part time/Job Share Up to £43,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience 28.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). To be responsible for the management and day-to day running of CT. To be responsible for the management of the specialist service ensuring optimum use of staffing and equipment resources within CT. Implementing protocols and keeping up to date with advancements in CT imaging. To be responsible for the professional leadership of the CT team providing a high quality patient focused service. High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail. Multi-modality experience with the ability to maintain high diagnostic standards in all areas relating to your role, to include X-ray, theatre and CT.

Our core hours are between 8:00 and 20:00, you will be required to participate in the on call rota which covers X-ray and Theatre as well as CT. The person

  • A postgraduate qualification or relevant clinical experience in CT desirable.
  • Certificate in intravenous administration and cannulation is desirable.
  • Post registration experience in Cardiac CT Scanning is desirable.
