Main duties of the job

Deliver quality pathology services in our UKAS accredited multidisciplinary laboratory Take a share of covering an on-call service out of hours. Enjoy a range of quality management responsibilities - including documentation management, auditing and incident investigation, reagent management and training support. You'll help us to validate and assess new equipment and develop new diagnostic procedures, as part of our ongoing quest to deliver the very best experience possible for patients.

As a Senior Biomedical Scientist at our Brentwood Hospital, our highly motivated and talented Pathology team will appreciate your 'can do' attitude, it is essential you're registered with the HCPC and have at least 2 years post registration laboratory experience in either Clinical Chemistry, Haematology or Blood Transfusion. You'll bring to the role good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques. A great communicator and team player, you understand how vital it is to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory. As a Senior Biomedical Scientist you will:
