Main duties of the job

As an Infection Prevention Lead Nurse, you will: Liaise with the lead microbiologist and support the Matron as the DIPC Manage the infection prevention audit schedule and lead our infection prevention link team Produce an annual Infection Prevention programme and train the clinical and non-clinical team Facilitate the quality assurance review and produce the annual infection prevention report Assist with policy development, carrying out action plans and improving best practice Support clinical governance in the hospital
