Main duties of the job

The opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a part time (15 hours) pharmacy assistant to work alongside the pharmacist in delivery of a high quality service to our stakeholders. As our pharmacy assistant you will: - Assist in administrative tasks - Accurately dispense medicines for outpatients - Help prepared take home medicines for inpatients - Aid in the procurement of medicines for the department - Provide all hospital departments with medicines at their request - Assist the pharmacist with ward work and other duties as appropriate

This year, we embarked on phase three of our multi-million pound refurbishment, adding state of the art equipment like our Mako robotic arm for orthopaedic surgery and a new ambulatory theatre.
