Endoscopy Clinical Leader Brentwood Hospital | Nursing | Permanent | Full time Up to £43,000.00 depending on skills and experience 37.5 hours per week The Endoscopy team at our Brentwood Hospital currently have an exciting opportunity for a Dynamic and Proactive individual looking for a leadership opportunity. Our Endoscopy unit is home to a team of expert consultants who regularly carry out day case procedures. The unit is comprised of a Modern and well equipped procedure room, decontamination room, clean room and 4 bedded patient bay. The department is busy and has an expanding service currently running throughout the week with occasional Saturday sessions. Typical endoscopic procedures that we carry out are Colonoscopy, Gastrscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Flexible Cystoscopy and Capsule Video Endoscopy Our hospital consists of:

  • 42 inpatient and day case bedrooms
  • 25 consultation rooms
  • Four operating theatres
  • Endoscopy
  • Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray
  • Operationally responsible for the Endoscopy service in the unit, you will enjoy the chance to make a real difference with Nuffield Health. A professional management qualification would also be an advantage, as you'll need to be equipped for business planning and development, audits and clinical governance, infection prevention, health and safety, and risk analysis. Overseeing governance to maximise clinical effectiveness and productivity are essential in providing the required support in implementing and contributing towards improvement of the service as measured by JAG standards and working with the team and unit manager towards achieving JAG accreditation for the department in the upcoming year.
