The Radiology department is a small but busy department covering general radiographic procedures, theatre, ultrasound, MRI and CT. Set in beautiful grounds, we're about 3 miles from the city centre, within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes.

As a Senior Mammographer or Radiographer with Mammo certificate and competencies, at our Derby Nuffield Hospital, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a UK postgraduate qualification in Mammography and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you'll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately. We have a highly rated 'One Stop' and Health Screening Breast Service. We want to bring Mammography to the forefront and a seamless service that is integrated into X-Ray. We have a national network of Mammographers, to allow best practice to be shared, networking and opportunities to improve the service. Our One Stop clinics are on an Monday core hours, Tuesday evening, Thursday Evening which can allow for some flexibility in work patterns not available in other Breast Services.
