Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist- Invasive and Non-Invasive
Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's | Permanent | Full time | Salary remuneration up to £60,000.00
We have an exciting opportunity for dynamic and a forward-thinking Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew`s Hospital!
The successful candidate will contribute to service provision specifically within invasive cardiology, specifically to support the growing interventional and devices services, as well as supporting non-invasive cardiac investigations. An ability to work flexibly across different areas would be an advantage, however consideration will be given to exceptional candidates.
Applicants will ideally be competent in non-invasive & invasive cardiac including:
Non-invasive Cardiology investigations; ECG, ETT, Holter
Cardiac Device follow up
Invasive Cardiology; PCI, Cardiac Device implants, Structural heart interventions.
An interest in EP procedures or skilled/accredited in RF/CRYO and 3D Mapping is an advantage.
Successful applicants will be expected to deliver high quality, clinically effective patient care for our patients and contribute to developing and building our charitable aims.
As well as contributing to service provision a focus of this role would be to support junior staff with their continual development, and helping to build the scientific workforce of the future. This includes mentoring and delivering informal and formal teaching. We will support your learning and development with both internal and external training, and giving you the skills and knowledge to develop in to a future leader.
Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital: The City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This is our flagship centre for cardiac services and we also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services.
The hospital consists of:
48 inpatient and day case bedrooms
28 consultation rooms
Three digital operating theatres
2x Cardiac catheterisation lab, of which one is a Hybrid
Specialist intensive care beds
Oncology day unit
Endoscopy and minor ops theatre
Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray
