Job Description Senior Physiotherapist Leicester Hospital | Physiotherapy | Permanent | Part Time - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Salary up to £42,500 pro rata

Main duties of the job

Undertake assessments in patients presenting often complex musculoskeletal conditions and conditions masquerading as musculoskeletal pathology Appropriately identify patients who require onward referral to advanced level physiotherapists/ consultants or other healthcare consultants including the use of internal escalation pathways for patients presenting with serious pathology Undertake treatment underpinned by extensive clinical knowledge and skills to deliver high quality patient outcomes Maintain relevant clinical skills and provides on-going evidence of personal CPD and Professional registration Manage complex face to face and remote service caseload effectively ensuring cases are discharged appropriately on systems Support colleagues and less experienced members of staff including administration staff and physiotherapy assistant colleagues to enhance clinical outcomes and patient experience.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPS and consultants in order to optimise the health and recovery of our patients. We offer a vast range of first-class medical and surgical services performed by our team of expert consultants. The Ward consists of 28 inpatient beds, across elective surgeries. We cater for both inpatient and day case surgery, providing a broad range of surgical specialties including: General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Endoscopy, Gynaecology, Urology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Vascular, Plastics and more.
