Job Description Clinical Lead for Recovery Oxford The Manor Hospital, Theatres | Permanent | Full time | Includes weekend work | Up to £47000 depending on experience | 37.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

Support the Theatre Manager in the efficient running of the department. Co-ordinate the the theatre department including scrub and anesthetics. Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalised care in the recovery room with a focus on safety and efficiency. Work well with consultants who are experts in their field. Have experience in line management of a busy and efficient recovery room, including ensuring professional development plans for a team of +15 staff. Be involved in the creation of projects and initiatives for the improvement and efficiency of the Recovery room, and supporting the vision and safety of the overall department. Conduct audits and investigations and have experience in this.

The recovery consists of 7 bays and 2 paediatric bays and adjacent is the ITU with 7 bays.
