Job Description GP and Health Assessment Doctor Allen & Overy - London | Permanent | Part Time Up to £105,000 pro-rata | 16 hours a week (Tuesday & Thursday)

Main duties of the job

Your role at Nuffield Health Working alongside our experienced Health and Wellbeing Physiologists, who will focus on behaviour change strategies to improve the client's lifestyle, you'll deliver a variety of face to face Health Assessments and GP consultations, with a focus on wellbeing and the ability to monitor patient outcomes in a safe environment. No quotas or unrealistic targets - just great care. You'll utilise our user friendly platforms and benefit from enhanced pathways whilst having access to our state-of-the-art clinics and a national network of hospitals. There are also opportunities to contribute to our charitable purpose through our flagship programmes, where we work in partnership with the NHS, other healthcare providers, research institutes and charities.

About us

Nuffield Health is Britain's largest not-for-profit healthcare organisation. Join us as at our Allen & Overy onsite medical centre and play your part in building a healthier nation. The Allen & Overy onsite clinic provides a 5-day service of Health Assessments and GP appointments for Allen & Overy employees. We are currently looking for a GP Doctor on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to join our clinical team. We are recruiting for up to 24 hours per week however, this can be split into 2 roles of 8 and 16 hours per week. The clinic also provides Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Nurse and full fitness and wellbeing services, providing an excellent opportunity for a joined-up working approach. We are proud to have an onsite pathology lab which enables results to be available during your health assessment consultations, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible client journey. As a GP and Health Assessment Doctor, you will be: * GMC registered GP on the GP register * Willing to provide a minimum of 2 days per week * Licenced to practice and have a minimum of 6 months GP experience (minimum 4 sessions per week) in the UK (private or NHS) with knowledge of UK care pathways. The 6 months GP experience must be in a traditional GP setting (NHS GP surgery). Any other work including out of hours work will not be counted. * Competent in a range of health screening services, such as smear tests, breast examinations and venepuncture, as well interpreting results and ECGs.
