Job summary

You will be working as part of a double crew on one of our ambulances, in a fast-paced environment, sometimes as the clinical lead on the vehicle.

  • You will be responsible for assessing patients, providing care and treatment for them.

Emergency Medical Technician - Manchester

EMT - Audenshaw

Immediate start

£16.40 per hour - Uplift for unsociable hours - OTE £37K+

Self Employed - £19.00 (DAYS) Uplift for Nights & Weekends

As a national independent ambulance provider, Ambulnz Community Partners is well established and continues to expand. Successfully growing over 6 years, our speciality is providing patient transport, mental health transport, Urgent Care and frontline services throughout the country.

You will be working as part of a double crew on one of our ambulances, in a fast-paced environment, sometimes as the clinical lead on the vehicle.

  • You will be responsible for assessing patients, providing care and treatment for them.
  • You will be tasked with providing frontline support to achieve the highest levels of patient service and care
  • You will be expected to adhere to the operation procedures and directives of Ambulnz Community Partners and our client NHS Trust.

Requirements for the role:

  • Cerad (Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving) - IHCD Emergency Driving Accreditation.
  • Must hold a valid IHCD Emergency Medical Technician/FutureQual AAP, or Qualsafe FREC5 qualification.
  • Manual handling ability to lift patients and equipment
  • Flexibility working approx 41 hours per week, on 4 on 4 off shift pattern consisting of days and nights.
  • Flexible working patterns and shifts for Bank/ Self Employed Technicians
  • Adhering to CQC requirements we will require a minimum of 2 references covering 3-years of employment history and a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
