Modality Partnership
Walsall Division has a full-time vacancy for a Clinical Pharmacist on a fixed
term contract for 1 year. The postholder will be a high performing Pharmacist
and will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring safe and effective medication use, working across a
dynamic Primary Care Network of six passionate General Practices within the
West of Walsall. We have a dedicated, enthusiastic team of health care
professional comprising of different skills, and specialities including
Physiotherapists, Paramedics, a Pharmacist Technician, Social Prescribers and a
Health Well-Being Coach.

Main duties of the job
The role is an all-rounded,
hands-on Clinical Pharmacist role; the postholder will need to confidently evidence
and utilise key skills such as effective communication, ability to work as part
of a multi-disciplinary team in a patient facing role to clinically assess and
treat patients using their expert knowledge of medicines for specific disease
areas. The postholder will work in collaboration with local divisions (including
Divisional Boards) and the National Modality Business Support Team to deliver innovative
ways of working to meet the strategic aims of the organisation.
The role is not
a regular 9am-5pm job and is not a pure pharmacist patient facing role; the job
requires innovation, flexibility, and commitment and the postholder will be
required to work resourcefully as part of the team to ensure tasks are
completed.
