Job summary
On behalf of
Walsall West One PCN Modality Partnership Walsall Division is recruiting a
Salaried GP position working 5 sessions a week on a fixed term basis for 6
months. Walsall West One PCN compromises
of 6 GP Practices, all located in the West region of Walsall.
The postholder
will be passionate about patient care, working across Walsall West One PCN contributing
to the innovation within the PCN in the way care is delivered. We are seeking dedicated postholders to join the
team who will embrace an agile way of working delivering care across the
Walsall West One PCN footprint.
This job is

Main duties of the job
The role is a
patient centred role delivered within the Walsall West One PCN boundary. The
postholder will need to confidently evidence key skills such as excellent
verbal and written communication skills, clinical skills and empowering
patients to manage their individual health conditions. The usual duties of a
salaried GP will be expected patient care through regular appointments, home
visits and the general administration for patient care. The postholder will
work in collaboration with their local practice team, engaging the use of the
associated roles that are be attached to the practice.

We are a PCN of
6 member practices, based across 3 health centres in the West of Walsall. Kingfisher
Berkley, Stroud, Modality Darlaston, Darlaston Family Practice, Darlaston
Health Centre and New Invention
The population
we serve is deprived. We have a team of ARRS staff including pharmacists,
pharmacist technicians, GP assistants, social prescriber, Health and wellbeing
coach, First contact practitioners, Care coordinators and mental health
practitioners.
We deliver
extended access to our patients.

Partnership
We are the
largest GP super-partnerships in the UK, with a list size of 450,000 patients
and with a multi-disciplinary workforce of 1500 staff. We are unique, always looking at ways to
improve our delivery of services through the implementation of new and
innovative solutions that we can scale across the organisation. Recent
innovations have included the use of robots to facilitate the remote filing of
blood results and the development of document management team. These new
initiatives are underpinned by our governance team to ensure patient safety.
