Main duties of the job
Within the role
of the General Practice Nurse, you will provide care and management of patients with
long term health conditions such as Asthma/COPD, as well as providing all
aspects of nursing care duties such as wound care, adult and childhood
immunisations, travel vaccinations, cervical cytology screening, contraception
and sexual health screening including promoting a healthy lifestyle.
