We're looking for enthusiastic and passionate Band 5Nurses to join our friendly and welcoming Ward team based on Harty Ward at Sheppey Community Hospital, Kent to help us to continue to change things for the better.

As a Ward Nurse, you will work collaboratively alongside our multi-disciplinary teams.
You will use your strong communication and organisation skills, along with a flexible approach, to ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
You'll care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work to help us continue to change things for the better. We feel passionate that everyone should feel valued when they come into contact with our organisation, whether that's you, someone we care for or the wider community we operate in.
We currently have one full-time position (37.5 hours per week) and one part-time position (22.5 hours per week)
Main duties of the job
Within this role, you will:
- Maintain a high standard of patient focused care.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for patients, ensuring accurate written records are kept.
- Communicate with patients and carers to ensure they have access to appropriate information.
- Promote and maintain positive relationships between all staff involved in the care of the patient.
- Act in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
