As the Named Nurse for Safeguarding, you will be an integral part of the organisations Safeguarding Team and accountable within the managerial framework of the Lancashire 019 Public Health Nursing Service. You will support the Safeguarding Lead in ensuring that the organisation meets all contractual and statutory safeguarding responsibilities, working collaboratively with partner agencies and the wider safeguarding network across HCRG Care Group.
You will provide leadership and management to the Safeguarding Specialist Nurses, supporting their professional development, delegating work appropriately, and offering highquality supervision. You will also deputise for the Safeguarding Lead when required and contribute to both the childrens and adults safeguarding agendas across the organisation.

What you'll do:
- Support the Safeguarding Lead to ensure the organisation meets its responsibilities in safeguarding children, young people, and adults with care and support needs.
- Deputise for the Safeguarding Lead when required.
- Work collaboratively as a core member of the Safeguarding Team.
- Provide leadership, management, and supervision to Safeguarding Specialist Nurses.
- Support and facilitate the ongoing professional development of the Specialist Safeguarding Nursing team.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the wider safeguarding agenda across HCRG Care Group.
- Build strong partnerships with internal teams, external agencies, and multiagency safeguarding partners.
- Produce highquality written reports, reviews, and safeguarding documentation as required.
