Join our warm and dynamic inpatient rehabilitation team atSt Martins
Hospital in Bath,where youll play a pivotal role in helping patients
regain independence and confidence. In our 29 bedded unit, including dedicated
stroke rehabilitation beds, youll work closely with a highly supportive,
multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and truly patient centred
care.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands on
experience and specialist training in supporting older adults with a variety of
physical, cognitive, and stroke related needs. If youre passionate about
delivering impactful rehabilitation and shaping positive discharge journeys,

Youll be based at St Martins Hospital in Bath, joining us
on a 6 month fixed term contractto support the team during a
period of maternity cover.
Main duties of the job
- Deliver holistic occupational therapy interventions to patients across a range of ages and needs.
- Complete thorough assessments and create personalised treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Work collaboratively with patients, families, carers, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate effectively within the team and with external partners to support safe, coordinated care.
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice and actively engage in ongoing professional development.
- Provide guidance, supervision, and training to junior colleagues and students.

The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Passionate about rehabilitation, with strong communication, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
- Experienced in supporting older adults with physical, cognitive, or psychosocial needs.
- A confident team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working with stroke survivors.
- Holds a full driving licence and has access to a vehicle for work purposes.
