Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Band 6 Podiatrist to come and be part of the North Kent system in Kent where we deliver services across Dartford, Gravesend and Swanley.
As a Podiatrist, you will have the chance to join a fantastic team to lead, support and educate community colleagues by providing optimum care. You will be supported by your senior clinicians and expected to continue to learn and develop your clinical skills and supervise/ mentor junior podiatrists, podiatry assistants, podiatry students and other health care clinicians on work placements.
Main duties of the job
As aband 6 podiatrist you will:
- Assess, diagnose and manage a caseload of complex patients.
- Evaluate clinical outcomes of your interventions
- Have a varied and changeable schedule of work
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Ensure effective communication of complex and sensitive information to patients
- Maintain professional accurate and accountable patient records.
- Understand and apply policies and procedures for the service
- Develop a clinical specialty
- Undertake health education & service presentations
