We are excited to be recruiting a number of Health Care Support Workers / Therapy Support Workers to join our team at The Orbital in Swindon. We welcome applications for both full-time and part-time roles, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

Interviews will be held via an assessment day on 27th February, from 10:00am.Successful applicants will be invited to attend and take part in a range of activities designed to help us get to know you and your skills.

Main duties of the job
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver treatment/care within a community setting as specified in a written care plan, under the guidance of a registered practitioner.
- To keep the patient at the centre of their care, ensuring patient and carer participation in decision making.
- Responsibility for, and supporting, the day-to-day care of patients, including monitoring.
- To communicate with individuals about routine and daily activities, this may include overcoming difficulties (e.g. hearing/language).
- To work within a multi-professional team and to feed back service user progress, liaising with colleagues, families, carers and other agencies.
- To assist registered and unregistered staff, referring to registered staff when necessary.
