Job summary
We are looking for a proactive and organisedSPOCAdministratorto join our dedicated team at Florence Nightingale Health Centre, Harlow.This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting children and families through the JADES (Journey of Autism Diagnosis and Early Support) pathway.
As the first point of contact for the Essex service, you will provide high-quality, responsive administrative support, working closely with colleagues across the Early Childhood and Family Wellbeing Service (ECFWS), partner agencies, and the families we serve.
This is a permanent part-time position for 35 hours a week.
Due to this role requiring occasional travel across our locality, a full UK driving license is required.
Main duties of the job
As a SPOC Administrator you will:
Act as the administrative hub for the SPOC Administrator, ensuring all enquiries are responded to promptly and appropriately, including effective signposting.
Accurately log all information ontoSystmOne, including referrals, appointments, telephone contacts, and correspondence.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Respond to complex booking requests and coordinate appointments, often liaising with multiple services and external agencies.
Support the ongoing development and improvement of the Essex business.
Liaise with parents/carers regarding appointments, follow-ups, and non-attendance (DNA).
Provide comprehensive administrative support across the team, including clinicians and partner services.
Coordinate multidisciplinary meetings, gathering information from parents and external agencies as required.
Answer and direct telephone calls in a polite, professional, and sensitive manner.
Support timely and accurate processing of referrals, acting as a gatekeeper for the pathway.
Record and monitor the progress of children along the ECFWS.

- Experience within an administrative role
